Pearl Farm Beach Resort is a renowned world-class beach resort in Samal Island off the coast of Davao City. It is nestled on a secluded cove in the Island of Samal, cascaded with pristine white sandy beaches, unspoiled lush vegetation, and flourishing flora and fauna. This 14-hectare paradise was once a pearl farm, where thousands of giant white-lipped oysters (taklobo) transported from the Sulu Sea, were cultivated for their pink, white, and gold pearls for commercial purposes.
Today, the resort has 73 fully air conditioned luxurious guestrooms, suites, cottages, and villas that sit around the contour of the island. Perched above the sea, the rooms and villas afford a breathtaking panoramic view of the deep blue waters of Davao Gulf. Each room is furnished with cable television, telephone, coffee/tea maker, mini bar, and room safe. The private toilet and bath are provided with hair-dryers.The villas were exquisitely designed from Maranao and Samal ethnic influences in both materials and forms. The facilities include outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, badminton courts, basketball courts, souvenir gift shops, a luxurious health spa, a cocktail bar with the view of the sea and nearby islands, a restaurant that serves delicious Filipino and international cuisines of fresh seafood specialties, and fully equipped function rooms and boardrooms, and many others.
Sports enthusiasts, and first-timers alike can enjoy the challenges of wind surfing, water polo, jet-skiing, water-skiing, banana boat rides, scuba diving, sea-kayaking, Hobie Cat surfing, and even underwater photography.

Maranao Restaurant
The Maranao Restaurant, the resort’s only restaurant, features delicious Filipino and continental cuisine of fresh seafood specialties, and sumptuous buffets. A wide assortment of exotic tropical fruits such as bananas, durian, santol, papaya, green mandarin, mangosteen and mangoes, are served fresh at the restaurant.

The Parola Bar features an ambiance of great food, music, videoke, different beverage concoctions and cocktail drinks, with the stunning view of Davao Gulf and adjacent islands, and Mt. Apo (Philippines' highest peak) at the background. The Parola Bar served as a lighthouse when the resort was once a pearl farm.

Ylang-Ylang Spa
Ylang Ylang Spa is one of the frequented spots in Pearl Farm. The Spa offers a wide range of beauty and soothing health treatments such as wraps, facials, body massage, and foot spas, using only natural ingredients known for their healing properties and wellness effect for the mind, body, and spirit. It is situated within a garden of vegetation amidst a man-made cascading waterfall.
Ylang Ylang is a popular flower that is endemic to the southeast Asian region, and whose fragrance is among the most intense of all floral aromas. Ylang-Ylang is widely known to be an aphrodisiac.

Butik is a souvenir gift shop that offers a variety of local handicrafts, native outfits and even the latest in trendy beachwear. Basic toiletries and necessities are also available at the shop.

Mandaya Weaving Center
Mandaya Weaving Center is also one of the frequented places in the resort, and is located near the Maranao Restaurant. Here, Mandaya tribeswomen skillfully weave their traditionally exotic and colorful handbags, mats, clothing and other native ornaments. The cloth is locally used as “Dagmay” as distinguished by the intricate figures and patterns depicting the tribal folklore and religion of the Mandaya tribe.

Pearl Farm has fully equipped multi-function rooms, and confrence rooms that are designed to accomodate up to 70 persons.

Aqua Sports Center rents out speed boats, outrigger boats for cruising, jet-skis, banana boats, kayaks, hobie cats, snorkeling gears, and has certified instructors for wind-surfing, water-skiing and scuba diving.

Malipano Island
Malipano Island is an island that lies a few hundred meters off the coast of Pearl Farm, and is the site of the famous Malipano Island Villas.
The Malipano Villas
The Malipano Villas are three-storey villas situated in Malipano Island, a secluded island across Pearl Farm. The design of these magnificent villas were patterned after the Maranao and Samal ethnic design, and the roofs were exquisitely designed after the traditional Philippine native hat, the “salakot”.
